Product Review: Noughty Shampoo & Conditioner

Noughty

Noughty

I had my eye on Noughty haircare products for a little while, as there’s nothing that attracts me more than cute packaging and the promise of natural ingredients. Fortunately for me their PR is lovely and sent me a couple to try – now I’m completely converted! I really wish I could prove how shiny and soft this product has made my hair feel; I’ve been burdened with dry, knotty hair for such as long as I can remember but you really wouldn’t think it now that I’m using Noughty.

I was sent the ‘Rise & Shine’ shampoo and conditioner as it’s for normal to dry hair, so you don’t necessarily have to have super dry hair like me to purchase this. The shampoo is a clear, watery substance and I have to use quite a bit in order to cover all of my hair (my hair is below my shoulders so you may not need to use as much if yours is shorter); due to its watery base it doesn’t weigh down my hair at all like some other products do, my hair is slightly fine so I’m quite susceptible to that happening. Also, it’s the nicest smelling product I have ever used! Honestly, it’s like using liquid flowers and you can actually still smell the product on your hair after you’ve showered, which is such a bonus.

The packaging is so sleek and has a really nice matte feeling to it, and the disclaimer on the back about not testing on animals is adorable – I’m so pleased that its sold in Superdrug. You could argue that £6.99 is fairly expensive for one product, however, I’m more than happy to pay more money if I know it’s Vegan, cruelty-free AND natural – that’s a lot of benefits. Here are the links if you would like to purchase the “Rise & Shine” shampoo and conditioner. They have plenty of other ranges you can browse for all hair types, from curly/wavy hair to sensitive scalps.

Never heard of this brand before! I’m always down for something that isn’t full of harsh chemicals! 🙂 Can’t wait to try this one out!
