09 Oct Halloween Decor Mini Haul
I have been loving Halloween-themed stuff this year… Halloween decor, Halloween candles, Halloween accessories… I’ve gone kind of over the top with the merchandise to be honest… And I’m still buying.
I bought these from Amazon* for £8.99 and to be honest I expected them to be average, but then I realised that they had been reduced from £19.99 so surely they must be decent? They are honestly so worth £8.99 (I definitely would not pay the original price for them though), they are really bright for such small lights and they come with a cute little control that lets you alter the setting of the lights – so handy!
I’m not going to lie, when these are hung in my bedroom at night they do creep me out a little bit. I think it’s probably something to do with the weirdly cut out mouth and eye holes. They are pretty flimsy but what do you expect for £1! I can’t hang them on my wall because they won’t stick to the blu tac properly so I just drape them over my mirror and they definitely give my room some added spookiness.
I purchased the Forbidden Apple and the Witches Brew candles and I love them both so much. The Witches Brew is definitely my favourite because it has such an intense, musky scent – I can’t describe it that well but it definitely smells like Halloween somehow. Forbidden Apple doesn’t really get me in the halloween spirit at all… But it still smells good.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t find this on the HobbyCraft website but I got in in store and it was £1. Annoyingly the top of mine is broken off, but it’ll still be great to practice carving a pumpkin design onto. It’s also good as a decoration without carving into it.
I got this from Sainsbury’s for £2 – Supermarket’s are usually really good at selling cheap, cute seasonal bits and bobs. The light inside is quite powerful at night and I’d love to purchase more of these and fill my bedroom with them!
I absolutely love these! I’m not really a person who goes all out with dressing up at Halloween, I’m far too lazy and not prepared to spend loads on a costume. A red dress and these hair clips would be a nice minimalist costume and they’re only £1.50 (they do get caught in my hair quite easily though).
I purchased this from my local Sainsbury’s in the fruit and vegetable aisle and I just think it’s far too cute to eat!! I don’t actually remember how much it was but it might have been under £1. I don’t have many good Vegan pumpkin recipes either, so if you have any, feel free to link them in the comments!
