07 Dec November Favourites 2017
Winter is fast approaching, and you can definitely tell in my inability to take photos indoors with decent lighting. Nevertheless, I think I had a nice mixture of favourites in November, and I think they all fit in quite well with Christmas – hope you enjoy!
‘Barry M’ Nail Gel
I’ve found it difficult finding vegan and cruelty-free nail varnish, and ‘Barry M’ is the only accommodating brand that I’ve discovered. I love this product; it has such a glossy finish and actually looks fine with only one coat (obviously, two is better, but one is fine if you’re in a rush). I find that it dries fairly quickly compared to other brands that I’ve tried, however, it does seem to chip kind of easily, but that’s probably because I have the habit of forgetting top coat. So affordable too. Let me know which cruelty-free and vegan nail polish that you use!
‘Pretty Gifted’ Wrapping Paper
The wrapping paper company ‘Pretty Gifted’ kindly sent me over a sample of their personalised paper, and I was so pleasantly surprised at the quality of it. I was able to personalise it all from their website, even down to the finish of the product – I think that’s such a nice touch. Mine clearly says ‘Love Jenny’ with a cute Christmas tree symbol next to it. It’s such a shiny, luxury paper, and will make all of my gifts that extra bit more special.
‘Jamie Jones Illustrations’ Prints
I received a couple of prints from ‘Jamie Jones Illustrations’ and have been in love with fine detail, and love that has gone into creating them. It first attracted my attention because I absolutely am obsessed with botanical prints! The A4 print is named ‘Kos Harbour with Yachts’, and the A5 print is named ‘Orange Botanical’ (Citrus Reticulate). Jamie has kindly given me a coupon code for anyone to use on Etsy – it is ‘JennyRE20’. The code expires on the 31st of March 2018, there is no minimum spend required, and there are unlimited uses! I feel so thankful to be able to share this with everyone, and if you enjoy his art as much as I do consider following him on Facebook, Instagram, and checking out his Etsy page, of course!
Daniel Wellington Watch
This was actually my graduation gift from my parents, but I’ve been wearing it practically every day in November. I found it quite difficult to see myself in a watch, as I’ve never really had one before, and it just didn’t look right with my outfits! I don’t know whether that sounds silly, but I wear a LOT of casual clothes, and it always felt odd pairing a nice watch with leggings and a hoodie?! I’m totally used to the watch now and think it really finishes off a nice outfit. Although, I am quite gutted that ‘Daniel Wellington’ do not do faux leather straps because that would have made this watch perfect. I’ve wanted a ‘Daniel Wellington’ watch for so long, and definitely want to get one with a white face.
