Andalou Naturals Review

Andalou Naturals

I received an incredible goodie bag from Andalou Naturals, a brand that I had not heard much about previously, but now am a huge fan of! This brand is totally cruelty-free, and a load of their products are vegan (all products are suitable for vegetarians) – they make it super easy to see what’s vegan on the packaging too. Only 2 of the products I received out of the bag were vegetarian, and not vegan, but I was able to gift them to someone else so they didn’t go to waste.

Andalou Naturals takes natural beauty to a new level, as it was the first Non-GMO Project Verified beauty brand, and they use fruit stem cell science to create their products.

My skin is sensitive, as well as dry, so I can tell how natural and gentle all of their products are by the way that they do not irritate my skin in the slightest. A lot of the products I received were anti-aging, and suited for dry skin, which is perfect for me!

Lash + Lid Makeup Remover

I really like this makeup remover, especially due to the promise of brightening my skin – I definitely need that. I tend to think that natural products will not remove makeup as well as normal products that involve chemicals, however, this makeup remover has definitely proved that theory wrong. I use this and then sweep some of the Andalou Naturals toner over my face to get rid of the more stubborn products – they work great together. It also doesn’t over dry, or irritate my face.

Aloe Mint Body Lotion

Can I just say that this product smells AMAZING?! If you love the smell of mint you will absolutely need this. The mixture of cocoa butter and aloe vera is like a recipe for the smoothest skin ever! It absorbs pretty quickly into my skin so it’s great if you’re in a rush. I used to use spray on body moisturiser, but this is the perfect replacement. It’s so lovely and cooling.

1000 Roses® Moroccan Beauty Oil

I’ve never used a beauty oil before, but this product has set the bar pretty high! I’m always aiming to get a dewy, healthy glow on my face, and this helps me achieve that. I’m still a beginner in terms of beauty oils, so comment below if you have any tips e.g. when to apply it, how much to apply. I especially love applying this before my makeup as it gives me more of a dewy look. Perfect for dry and sensitive skin!

Thinning Hair Treatment

According to my hair dresser, my hair is a little thin, but I just have a lot of it, so I thought that this product may be of good to me! However, I realised it’s more of a styling product, and I don’t tend to style my hair. If you would like a vegan, cruelty-free thinning treatment that also aids styling, this is probably a great choice for you!

I couldn’t actually find this exact product on the website, but here is something similar.

Andalou Naturals

Blossom + Leaf Toning Refresher

This toner came in their ‘Age Defying’ pack of 5 mini skin care essentials – perfect for travelling! I was eager to try out this first as it reminded me of a Clinique product I used years ago, which removed dirt/makeup from my skin that I didn’t even realise was there and fortunately, this product is just effective.

I have been using this mostly everyday since I received it and it’s just about running out; I don’t think I will repurchase a toner as I have read that they’re somewhat unneeded for those with dry skin. When applying this toner (with a cotton wool ball) I feel my face instantly tightening, and I always love that feeling for some reason. I like to leave it on whilst it soaks in, and then apply my moisturiser. I will probably only use this when I’ve taken my makeup off so that it can pick up anything extra that I have missed, it’s perfect for that.

Coconut Water Eye Lift Cream

I’ve already spoken a little bit about this product on my blog here, but it’s still working its magic, but even more so. I first mentioned that I thought I saw my skin brightening, but now I realise that it’s plumping my under eyes rather than brightening, which is still great to me. I try my best to apply this in the morning and evening once I have washed my face and sometimes apply across my brow bone. Paired with my under eye colour corrector, my eyes are looking pretty healthy at the moment!

1000 Roses Pearl Exfoliator

As I already said, my skin is pretty sensitive and gets red and blotchy really easily, so you can imagine that exfoliators do not work well with me – HOWEVER, I can assure you that this is perfect for delicate and dry skin. I used to exfoliate once a week, but now I’ve started to use this twice a week and it makes my skin feel so smooth afterwards. Remember to massage a small amount onto your damp face, and do it gently! I have noticed that my base makeup applies much nicer once I have used this product.

1000 Roses Rosewater Mask

Lucky for me, another perfect product for delicate and dry skin! I have never been a fan of face masks, the first (and last time for a few years) time I used a face mask I had some sort of allergic reaction and broke out in a rash for a few days… So it’s safe to say I was a little hesitant to use this one. I made sure I chose a period of time that I wasn’t doing anything particularly important, so I didn’t have to leave the house with a potential rash on my face… Of course, nothing happened, and my face just felt smoother than ever. The consistency is thick, yet light and airy, and it’s so easy to apply on your face – it’s probably unlike any facemask you’ve used before. It tends to disappear on your skin a little bit once you’ve applied it – so you don’t look terrifying whilst pampering yourself.

Overall, I’m super happy with Andalou Naturals, and absolutely love everything that I have tried so far. If you want to get an idea of what products I’ll be adding to this post next week, just peak at the featured photo at the top!

Ouuuu this seems like such a nice beauty regime to have a routine! I’ve wanted to try Andalou products but the last time I tried to order it from Ulta I couldn’t get it. The eye cream really sounds nice, I need to implement one into my routine before it’s too late! Great review doll 🙂
